Silicon Waha is a joint-stock company established in 2016 with a sole purpose of spreading futuristic technology parks all over Egypt, giving technology enthusiasts the opportunity to experience Silicon Waha’s technological ecosystem for a future led by technology.

We work with all our participating groups to provide a competitive and attractive environment for innovators, businessmen, local companies, regional and international investors through which we will link the local economy with international trade.

New Borg Al Arab Technology Park

Borg Al Arab city is located 48 km southwest of Alexandria; the city hosts a population of 155 thousand people and planned to host 750 thousand people – which shows the traffic within New Borg Al Arab Technology Park. The surrounded area of the park has the Egypt Japan University of Science & Technology and planned for more universities to join the area, which adds up to the calibers quality attending at the park.



Assiut

New Assiut Technology Park

The capital of all Upper Egypt is the city of Assiut, where the population exceeds 4 million people, which makes it a very superb chance for talents to rise; as well as, the university of Assiut ranks fourth in the top universities in Egypt including 18 faculties generating over 15 thousands graduates every year.
The city holds an economical value with a noticeable level of investment that keeps on increasing, where the city has many industrial zones.



Beni Suef

New Beni Suef Technology Park

On the east bank of the river Nile you’ll find the city of Beni Suef, the city is 120km away from the west side of Cairo, approximately an hour and a half driving, hosting a population of 2.86 million people which increases traffic on the technology park. In addition, Beni Suef University includes 27 faculties and Nahda University includes six different faculties, which shows the quality of calibers in the area.




Sadat

Sadat City Technology Park

Sadat city is located 94 km northwest of Cairo considered to be a first generation of a new urban community; also positioned as one of the largest industrial cities in the country, with a total population of 250 thousand people, which shows the traffic in the area. The education in Sadat City: Sadat University includes eight faculties and Branch of Al-Azhar University, which shows the quality of calibers in the surrounding area.



Infrastructure

Silicon Waha for Technology Parks is set with the highest quality infrastructure that exceeds market standards. The infrastructure is designed and supervised by with Engineering Consultants Group S.A. (ECG). In addition, it is executed by Wadi El Nile for Contracting & Real Estate Investments.

The infrastructure includes water and sewage system (there is a reserve tank for drinking and firefighting systems with a capacity of 3000 cubic meters and an irrigation tank with a capacity of 1000 cubic meters). In addition, telephones and electricity (the area is fed by two sources for the current with a capacity of 17 megawatts from two different cells, and there are UPS units in addition to generators available in case of blackouts).

Furthermore, in regards to the telecommunication infrastructure all parks include fiber optics connectivity between buildings; as well as, a communications hub provided by Telecom Egypt. In regards to New Borg Al Arab & New Assiut Technology Parks are facilitated by copper, while fiber optics are implemented to cover the outside between the available buildings. New Beni Suef & Sadat City Technology Parks is totally facilitated by fiber optics; as well as the newest GPON technology.
